Private Boarding-
At Wonder Mutt Pet Services, we provide more than just a place for your dog to stay—we provide a home.
Our guests become part of our family during their visit, enjoying a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of individual attention, supervised outdoor time, and lots of love. We don't use kennels unless requested or necessary for a dog's comfort or safety, and we intentionally keep our boarding environment personal and low-stress.
Added piece of mind-
One of the unique benefits of boarding with Wonder Mutt Pet Services is that our home includes a licensed veterinarian. While your dog's stay is not intended to replace veterinary care, having professional veterinary knowledge close at hand provides an extra level of confidence and peace of mind while your dog is in our care.
What to expect-
Before scheduling a stay or visit we will coordinate a time to meet to make sure that everyone is a good fit from the start. Plan to spend at least 30 min getting to know each other and go over care. This also gives your dog time to get comfortable with the space. We have found this to be very helpful on drop off day.
Once your pet arrives, dog guests are rarely home alone for extended periods. They spend the majority of their stay enjoying family life with us. They have access to a large, securely fenced backyard with mature shade trees, plenty of room to run, explore, sniff, and relax, as well as comfortable indoor spaces to unwind whenever they choose.
We provide dog beds, food and water bowls, treats, and just about everything your dog will need during their stay. You're always welcome to bring a favorite blanket, toy, or treats from home if it helps your dog feel more comfortable. If your dog normally sleeps in a crate or requires one for their comfort or routine, please bring it along.
We're also happy to administer medications and supplements according to your instructions. For everyone's safety, all prescription medications must be in their original, labeled veterinary containers with the medication name, dosage instructions, prescribing veterinarian, and expiration date clearly displayed.
Required Vaccines-
Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian. However, we prefer vaccinations be administered 10-14 days before check-in to ensure maximum efficiency. Written proof is required.
Rabies- 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required
Bordetella- Required every 12 months and at least 48 hours prior to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency and protection against Kennel Cough. Please note: Many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.
DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza)- 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required
Canine Influenza- Not required, but recommended to help protect against the Canine Influenza respiratory illness. Consult your veterinarian.
Leptospirosis- Not required, but recommended to help protect against the Leptospirosis infection. Consult your veterinarian.
*Fleas & Ticks In addition to vaccinations, all pets should be flea and tick free. Overnight and Daycare guests with signs of fleas and/or ticks cannot be permitted to stay.
